Bio

Dr. Chris Mattingly begins his sixth season as the Martin Methodist Faculty Athletic Representative.

Dr. Mattingly currently serves as the campus Registrar, Director of Institutional Research. Additionally, Dr. Mattingly serves as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Mathematics Department.

Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky, earning undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Finance, and Mathematical Economics. After undergraduate work, he earned his Masters and Doctorate from Kentucky as well. 

Dr. Mattingly joined the MMC family in 2012 as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Since then, he has found himself not only teaching and coordinating the Math program, but also as the Resident Director of the Apartments, Director of Institutional Research, and most recently as the College Registrar. 

In his spare time, Dr. Mattingly enjoys being lazy with video games and particularly catching Pokemon – his dream is to one day be a Pokemon Master.
