Bio

As a RedHawk

Coach Johnny Jones received an Associate of Arts Degree from Martin Methodist College is 1985. He then went on to MTSU and received a Bachelor of Science Degree (EMT) in 1987.
     

After 1987 - Received a Masters of Sports Science from United States Sports Academy

- Received a Paramedic Certificate (Critical Care, NREMT-P) from Roane State Community College
1988-1996 - Returned to Martin Methodist College as a coach and teacher
After 1996 - Began working at Roane State Community College as the Women's Basketball Coach as well as an Associate Professor of Health and Physical Education (Department Chair).
2012-2016 - Began working at Harriman High School in Harriman, Tennessee as the Girl's Basketball Coach. In 2016 Jones led the Blue Devils to a Sectional Championship and to the Elite Eight in the state tournament.

     Awards
            - 1989-1990 Western Division Coach of the Year
            - TJCCAA Eastern Division Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2001
     
     Personal
            - Married to Jessica Jones and has three children: Tanner, John III and Jerra Deacon
            - Attends West Hills Presbyterian Church
            - Co-author of the textbook, "Fitness for Living"
